Hanamaru kindergarten wiki1/21/2024 Other side characters work as a one-dimensional personality too here, so I wouldn't go expecting the world here, but again, it brings for nice crazy combinations with at least one of them satisfying a viewer in this 13 episode season. It's just crazy matchups to bring about funny moments all in all. Seeing conflict between Hitoha and Mitsuba ideals clash, or Futaba's lack of awareness or willingness to go wild being taken advantage of. Sometimes the matchups with the three, bit it with others or amongst themselves can work really well too. These three know how to cause a stir in the moment, it is truly incredible. You have the 3rd sister, Hitoha, the cute edgelord pseudo-esper. You have the 2nd sister, Futaba, the superhuman bakemono idiot. You have the 1st sister, Mitsuba, basically a bitchy sadist. The characters here are indeed nothing special, but they are part of the reason why this is enjoyable anyway, and it isn't just because they are some trope at the end of the story, but rather the chemistry and madness of this anime fully utilised these characters to make the best of them. It's still good.Ĭharacters are an integral part of comedy too, so I will touch upon that. The number of times I've laughed is uncountable-no one actually counts this stuff anyway. I will reiterate that this is still good stuff. But honestly, I could just be thinking about this too much. It only covers the very literal, the surface, the baseline, the superficial, which is where my problem lies. The fact that it is just some comedy only made to make people laugh at little kids rambling on about pantsu and oppai-mentioned kids also being very unrealistic-is not a problem in itself. There were just too many times when the same thing would happen, or how some jokes just didn't land probably because of some fault in innovation behind the scenes. However, it is the lack of ideas that resurface consistently and the understanding that this is more comedy driven than anything else is what gets to me as the points where it falters and becomes a little too literal. I'd say that this is something very easy to enjoy, though has apparent and quite visible distinctions where lack of idea was simply present (they just threw in some oppai joke and it worked I think). Mitsudomoe is literally just a comedy filled with borderline ecchi jokes.Īgain, in its own right, Mitsudomoe is something to praise, excluding everything that already exists and acting as if this were the only anime ever. You also have series like Minami-ke and Strawberry Marshmallow which, to be fair, is probably closest to Mitsudomoe, though the two former titles embrace their SoL nature, allowing for some real and wholesome comedy moments. Quick note, obviously the series is extreme, but relative to its own world, the idea of the baseline is apparent and was the aforementioned. You have some anime like Hanamaru Kindergarten which takes juvenile mindsets and plays them in a comedic joyous fashion to bring fun to the series in a way that brings the viewer to engage with the childish realm of thought. I really can't go on too much about what makes Mitsudomoe so good, it is an enjoyable thing, everything is based on such and other frequently highlighted pillars decay in relevance. But then you remember that ecchi is a thing so there is no real need to touch on that because it has already been done before, and even if I did, Mitsudomoe has a tendency to play with unoriginal tropes anyway. Though, when I think about that, I suppose I could go on about the toilet humour and sexual jokes that light up every corner of this anime neverendingly. I liked it for sure, but it didn't have any qualifications for me to say that it had some kind of idiosyncratic nature to I should be straight here actually, I am unable to sell Mitsudomoe in comparison to other exceptional comedies out there in a way that only puts it and its quality in a unique spotlight. It's known to all that comedy is a hit or miss, you either find it funny or you don't. Mitsudomoe took toilet humour and the likes and did a funny. (TLDR Review below, as usual, thanks for reading in advance)
